Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for positive change in the lives of women and their children in Guilford County. Through our endowment funds and collective impact model, we support strategic grantmaking and amplify the efforts of local nonprofits. We are committed to creating a community where all women and children can thrive in safety, economic self-sufficiency, and vibrant well-being.
-
Thought Leadership
Behind the demographic, social and economic data we collect are the women and families who struggle with life's basic needs. This data helps us identify targeted programs and track their effect. We are a resource as we work together.
WE ARE THE VOICE FOR POSITIVE CHANGE.
-
Local Impact
We believe that every woman and child has the right to a life that is safe, financially secure with an opportunity for a brighter future. Our focus is on Guilford County because sustainable social change begins on the local level. Stronger women and girls build stronger families; stronger families build stronger communities.
WE ARE BRIDGING THE GAP.
-
Strengthening Community
Investing in women and children are the most effective strategy to strengthen families, communities and the local economy. Partnering with agencies, we address issues of financial insecurity, unhealthy living environments and lack of opportunities that prevent women from thriving.
WE DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT IMPACT THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY.
Women to Women
Together, we’ve distributed more than $1.9 million in grants, touching the lives of more than 40,000 women and children.
The Need Is Real
Women to Women changes the lives of women and children in need or at risk by targeting and funding transformative programs that address complex and overlapping issues. Through our rigorous grant allocation process, we partner with organizations that provide women and girls a path to meet their potential. Our supporters invest in the future of our community. We believe positive change begins with one woman, one childat a time. It begins with each of us.
